Becoming an OMP Educator is more than gaining another certification.

Certified OMP Educators are authorised to publicly teach OMP for Parents and Intro to OMP using approved Optimal Maternal Positioning™ curriculum and resources.

But knowing OMP techniques is not enough.

Teaching OMP requires you to understand the principles beneath what you are teaching and to develop the critical thinking skills to consider what you are seeing, what information may be missing, what may or may not apply in that situation, and how to communicate OMP responsibly within your professional scope.

We are therefore looking for more than people who can learn a presentation.

We want to develop Educators who can understand, apply, reason and teach.

That is why the pathway to becoming a Certified OMP Educator now begins with Readiness.  

Is OMP Educator Certification right for you?

The Readiness Program isn't designed to convince you that you should become an OMP Educator.

It's designed to help you, and us, explore whether Certification is the right next step for you.

You may discover that you are ready for the next Certification cohort.

You may identify something you would benefit from developing first.

You may realise that becoming an Educator is something you want, but that your current season of life isn't the right time to undertake Certification.

Or you may discover that continuing to use OMP within your existing professional role as an OMP Ambassador is actually the better fit for you.

All of those can be valuable outcomes.

We would much rather help you make that decision before you commit the time, energy and financial investment required for Certification.

We'll explore professional integrity, scope, attribution and the balance between remaining consistent with OMP principles while developing your own authentic teaching voice.

From Information to Application

This is at the heart of OMP Educator Certification.

OMP isn't taught simply by memorising positions, techniques or protocols.

You'll explore the critical-thinking process behind OMP and work through an applied case scenario.

Rather than asking only:

“What would you do?”

we're interested in how you think:

What are you observing?

What information is missing?

Which OMP principles might be relevant?

What may, or may not apply?

What sits within your professional scope?

And how would you explain your reasoning to a parent?

How & Who Will You Teach?

Becoming certified does not automatically create an audience.

We'll help you think practically about how OMP education could fit within your existing profession and community.

Who would you teach?

Privately or in groups?

Where would families come from?

What professional relationships or referral networks already exist?

How comfortable are you building your own visibility locally?

You don't need to have everything established.

But you do need to understand that OMP Certification gives you the education, resources and authority to teach OMP, it does not build your business for you.

Is This Your Season?

Sometimes the right opportunity arrives at the wrong time.

Certification requires time, financial commitment, participation, practice, feedback and completion of assessed work.

We'll ask you to look realistically at your current professional and personal commitments, foreseeable interruptions and how you would protect the time needed to complete Certification.

The goal isn't to find people with perfectly uncomplicated lives.

It's to make a realistic completion plan before you begin.

And then we talk.

Your answers are not fed into an automated pass/fail system.

Ginny personally reviews your Readiness work.

Once you have completed the program, you'll be invited to book a private 1-1 Readiness Conversation with Ginny Phang-Davey, founder of Optimal Maternal Positioning™.

Together, you'll discuss your experience, your aspirations, your responses and any areas that may benefit from further development.

From there, your next step may be:

  • joining the next OMP Educator Certification cohort;
  • proceeding after completing or clarifying a particular requirement;
  • preparing for a later cohort with a practical development plan; or
  • continuing to develop and practise as an OMP Ambassador.

Whatever the outcome, you'll leave the conversation knowing what your next step is and why.

This personal conversation and the four possible pathways are part of the confirmed Readiness process.  

What happens if I'm ready for Certification?

If you and Ginny agree that Certification is the appropriate next step, you'll be invited to enrol in the OMP Educator Certification Program.

Certification combines drip-fed Kajabi learning with eight live guided sessions, where Ginny works with a small cohort of no more than 10 Educators through application, teaching development, critical thinking, case studies, feedback and integration.

You'll begin developing your teaching while progressing through the program, receiving feedback and refining your work as you learn.

You'll also join the wider OMP professional community through your cohort, OMP Educator WhatsApp group and Kajabi Community.

Your $49 AUD isn't lost if you proceed.

The OMP Educator Readiness Program is $49 AUD.

If you are accepted into OMP Educator Certification and choose to enrol, your $49 is credited towards your Certification fee.

Your credit remains valid for two years.

This means you can complete Readiness now and, if Ginny recommends that you gain more experience or wait for a more appropriate season, you don't need to rush into Certification simply to preserve your $49 credit.

Before you begin

The OMP Educator pathway is designed for professionals who have attended an OMP workshop and have had time to begin developing their applied understanding.

As a general pathway, applicants are assessed after approximately 4–6 months of practice, and the qualifying OMP workshop must remain within the two-year validity period.

The revised two-day OMP workshop is also part of the Educator pathway where an in-person event is reasonably accessible. A remote Day 2 pathway will be available for those without reasonable access to an in-person event.

Your individual workshop history and requirements can be discussed during the Readiness process.

FAQ

What is the investment if I am invited to continue into OMP Educator Certification?

OMP Educator Certification is currently $3,145AUD paid in full, inclusive of card and platform fees. An instalment option is available with an $1,000AUD deposit + 11 monthly payments of $227AUD ($3,497AUD total).

Your $49AUD Readiness Program fee is credited towards your Certification fee if you are accepted and enrol within two years.

Annual renewal after the first year is currently $495 AUD, inclusive of card and platform fees.
