What You Will Gain
Clinical Depth & Applied Understanding
A live, interactive OMP workshop combining theory with practical application. You will develop a clear framework for supporting maternal alignment and pelvic balance during pregnancy, labour, and birth.
Many midwives have shared:
“Why weren’t we taught this at university?”
OMP bridges that gap.
Confidence in Any Birth Setting
Whether you work in hospital, birth centre, or home settings, you will gain tools you can apply immediately.
OMP equips you to respond skillfully when labour slows, stalls, or deviates from plan — using practical maternal positioning techniques grounded in physiology.
Expert-Led Training
Ginny Phang-Davey has attended over 1,200 births across hospital and home settings and brings over two decades of clinical experience in birthwork, midwifery, and biomechanics-informed practice.
In addition, you will gain access to:
* A private professional forum
* A private Facebook community
* A growing global network of 450+ birth professionals
This community supports ongoing discussion, case review, shared learning, and professional growth.
Practical Tools for Measurable Results
You will learn:
* Techniques to support pelvic alignment during pregnancy
* Strategies to reduce discomfort and enhance functional mobility
* Positioning approaches to optimise labour progress
* Decision-making frameworks when labour dynamics change
OMP provides actionable strategies that can influence outcomes and enhance maternal experience.
Ongoing Professional Community
Participants are welcomed into a supportive professional network of midwives, doulas, childbirth educators, and maternity care providers committed to advancing maternal-centred care.
Informed & Empowered Practice
When professionals understand maternal biomechanics, they can better facilitate informed decision-making.
Informed choice is empowered care.
OMP equips you with the knowledge to support women in working with their bodies throughout pregnancy and birth.
Participant Testimonials
“The OMP workshop was outstanding. I learnt so much and feel better equipped to support women in my care.”
— Kate, HBA Practitioner & Childbirth Educator
“We have focused on optimal fetal positioning for decades. OMP brings the missing piece — starting with the mother. This is essential knowledge for birth workers.”
— Vicki, Doula & Childbirth Educator
“The concepts sound simple — but the impact is profound. The hands-on demonstrations, particularly the deconstructed pelvis, make everything click. I value the ongoing support and follow-up.”
— Debra, Midwife
