What if you could walk into any labour room β and always know what to do next?
Most birth professionals are trained to watch the baby's position. Very few are taught to work with the mother's body to create the conditions for birth to unfold.
That's the gap OMP fills.
Optimal Maternal Positioning is the other half of the equation β the practical, body-centred framework that helps you support labour progress, ease stalled births, and give every woman you serve a genuinely better chance at the birth she hopes for.
After 1,500+ births attended, Ginny Phang-Davey has distilled what actually works into one powerful day of hands-on learning.
What You'll Walk Away With
A foundation that changes how you practise You'll understand the biomechanics of the maternal pelvis at a level most birth training never covers β and know exactly how to apply it from pregnancy through every stage of labour.
Confidence in the hard moments When labour slows, when the birth plan shifts, when the room gets tense β you'll have real tools and the certainty to use them. No more wondering if there's something more you could do.
Skills that work in any setting Hospital, birth centre, home birth β the OMP framework is adaptable, practical, and immediately applicable wherever you work.
A community to grow with You'll be welcomed into a private forum of 450+ midwives, doulas and birth professionals, where you can deconstruct births, share wisdom, and keep learning long after the day ends.
